On Monday, April 21st, Batorama is teaming up with them to offer a unique activity to enjoy solo or share with friends, a partner, or as a family with your child (12+ years old). A friendly and creative getaway, on the water. Grab your brushes: let's set sail!
Taking advantage of the extended Easter weekend and school holidays, Boutique des Bouleaux is joining forces for the first time with Batorama and its cruise boats.
On Monday, April 21st, aboard the Doubs, they will take us into their gentle world, relocating their "ceramic café" for the day.
A place that combines conviviality and creativity—a cozy haven where you can recharge with a coffee in your cup, a snack on your plate, and inspiration at your fingertips. The idea? Choose a ceramic piece from the selection and have fun decorating it with colors, patterns, and techniques, based on your own inspirations.
Mommy, the little boats create on the water
During this experience, just like at the boutique, you can choose from a pre-selected range: a cup, a handleless pot, a soliflore, a small plate, or a shaped bowl—and customize it during this floating workshop.
Not the best at painting? No worries, you’ll be in good hands to transform your object with style. Accessible from 12 years old, the workshop, led by Eugénie, is open to everyone—friends, couples, parents, children, and other young sailors.
Out of ideas? No need to stay ashore… Draw inspiration from your own tableware, browse the internet (Pinterest, Instagram), or check out the boutique’s catalogs. You can even trace a pattern if needed. And at the end: a lovely keepsake in your hands.
To collect your creation: head back to shore a month later (after firing) at Boutique des Bouleaux. (Shipping is also available as an option).

A little tour (of Strasbourg) and then off we go
Tempted by the adventure? Young sailors and artists of all ages, all aboard! Departing from the Cathédrale dock (not far from the boutique), three cruises will embark for 2-hour getaways (departures at 10:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 4:30 PM).
The captains will follow a route that allows you to take in all of Strasbourg between brushstrokes: from the city center (Finkwiller, Gallia) to the European Parliament, the Orthodox Church, and the Quartier Étoile.
And safely inside the boat, too busy painting—no chance of drinking the water! However, soft drinks will be available, along with optional snacks (cookies), while supplies last. Experience Boutique des Bouleaux almost as if you were there.
At the helm of Boutique des Bouleaux: A mother-daughter duo
Before we set sail, let’s introduce Boutique des Bouleaux. Behind this concept is the story of a success and a mother-daughter team: Régine Lehner and Eugénie Wihlm. The first is a potter, the second a candle maker. Wanting to bring together their expertise and brands (J’aime la Terre and Odòs candles) in a space dedicated to decoration and stationery, they created Boutique des Bouleaux in Walscheid in October 2022.
After hosting a few workshops (pottery and scented candle making) and inaugurating their first ceramic café in July 2023, they opened a second in Strasbourg in October 2024.
